Raymond James says a pair of advisors has joined its employee advisor channel from TIAA, where they had around $1.5 billion in client assets.

Nicholas Troiano and Matthew Mattice have joined Raymond James & Associates. They are joined by registered client service associate Christine Blakely.

They operate as Next Level Planning & Investments of Raymond James and have offices in Denver and Boulder, Colorado.

The team provides a range of financial and investment planning services to their clients including business owners, nonprofits, retires, individuals and families, according to Raymond James.

“Raymond James’ close-knit culture and people-first values were at the heart of our choice to join the firm,” Troiano said in a statement about the move.

“It was essential that we not only find a home with robust technology and resources necessary to satisfy our clients’ needs, but also one that is steadfast in their commitment to client success above all else,” he added.

Troiano has been in the industry since 1999, when he registered with Buckman, Buckman & Reid, and has also been registered with CIBC World Markets, JPMorgan Securities, Hightower Securities, Morgan Stanley and TIAA-CREF Individual & Institutional Services, according to his BrokerCheck record.

Mattice has been in the industry since 2007, when he registered with MML Investors Services, and has also been registered with TIAA-CREF Individual & Institutional Services, according to his BrokerCheck record.
