Advisor Group says it has partnered with two healthcare firms to launch a wellness program for the nearly 2,300 employees on its network.

The new program, which offers physical, mental and financial health support to Advisor Group’s employees and their families, is in partnership with virtual behavior healthcare firm Talkspace and healthcare company Aetna, according to Advisor Group.

The program offers mental health support through Talkspace, which matches individuals with licensed therapists, encourages healthy behavior through an app from Aetna “that rewards participants for staying active and healthy” and reimburses participants for fitness event entrance fees through the Advisor Group Athlete Program, the company says.

"The COVID-19 pandemic had a profound impact on all our mental and physical health, and recent market volatility and economic uncertainty has only exacerbated this toll,” Advisor Group's president and chief executive officer Jamie Price said in the announcement. “Experts designed this program to enable our employees to address all aspects of healthy life so that they are best positioned to continue delivering outstanding service to our network of financial professionals."

The program is available for employees at Advisor Group network firms FSC Securities, Royal Alliance Associates, SagePoint Financial, Securities America, Triad Advisors and Woodbury Financial Services, according to Advisor Group.
