UBS Wealth Management has lured advisors from Graystone Consulting and Wells Fargo.

Michael Valenti and Samantha Maley will join Rochester, N.Y.-based The Schoff Group.

The pair come from Morgan Stanley’s Graystone Consulting unit.

The Schoff Group caters to corporations, unions, not-for-profits, and ultra-high-net-worth families. The team advises clients on stock plans, corporate financial wellness, advanced planning, and wealth management.

Valenti and Maley will help the group expand into consulting services for retirement plans including Taft Hartley plans, 401(k)s, pensions, and charitable endowments. Their arrival helps push the team’s assets to more than $3 billion.

Valenti has more than 20 years of experience. Prior to joining UBS, he worked as a senior VP and institutional consultant for Graystone Consulting.

Maley has eight years of experience. Prior to UBS, she spent two years with Graystone Consulting, starting as a client service associate and working up to a position as an institutional consulting relationship manager.

UBS also announced the addition of Kelly Ferrarese who joins from Wells Fargo and is based in Boca Raton, Florida.

Ferrarese spent 24 years at Wells Fargo Private Bank as a wealth advisor. She is a certified financial planner and works with high net worth clients, providing wealth management services such as investment, retirement, and financial planning.

"On behalf of the firm, we are excited to welcome Kelly to UBS and watch as she delivers a truly comprehensive wealth management experience that we hope will meet and exceed our clients' expectations," said Robert Covino, South Florida market head at UBS Wealth Management USA.
