Joseph E. Donnelly and Sean W. Donnelly have joined JP Morgan Wealth Management, bringing with them $250 million in client assets, the firm announced this week.

The advisors, who are not related, come from Morgan Stanley, where Joseph Donnelly joined in 2011 and Sean Donnelly joined in 2017, BrokerCheck records show. Joseph Donnelly is based in Miami, while Sean Donnelly is based in New York, according to a web page for their practice.

The team started at JP Morgan last Friday, according to a spokesperson for the company. They report to Rick Penafiel, regional director.

Last month, the New York-based bank recruited a $300 million team from Wells Fargo.

Since the start of September JP Morgan has also seen advisors depart, including John Bunch, who oversaw $132 million and joined Ameriprise and a group of five private bankers who joined Cresset Asset Management.
