Advisor Group says it has added a trio of wealth management firms with a combined $498 million in client assets.
The three practices have joined from Mass Mutual, LPL Financial and Cetera Advisor Networks.
They are joining the firm as registered representatives through Advisor Group subsidiary SagePoint Financial and are affiliated as investment advisory representatives with SagePoint registered investment advisor The AmeriFlex Group, Advisor Group says.
The new additions are:
- CURO Financial, a La Jolla, California-based firm with $169 million in client assets that’s led by president James Lingelbach and advisor Ciano Villaquiran;
- Pajak Financial Services, a Sacramento, California-based solo practice with $200 million in client assets that’s led by Laura Pajak; and
- Peak Financial Solutions, a Las Vegas-based solo practice with $129 million in client assets that’s run by chief executive officer Michael Keeler.
Advisor Group says each practice had their own motivations for joining the firm: CURO cited its financial planning and business growth services; Pajak cited its succession planning services and community of women advisors, and Peak cited its technology offerings and sense of community.
CURO’s Lingelbach started in the industry in 1989, when he registered with Equico Securities, and was registered with nine firms over the years, according to his BrokerCheck record. Both Lingelbach and Villaquiran were registered with Mass Mutual subsidiary MML Financial Services from 2017 until August this year, their BrokerChek records show.
Pajak started in the industry in 1985, when she registered with First Investors, and was registered with nine firms over the years, including LPL Financial from 2014 to August this year, according to her BrokerCheck record.
Peak’s Keeler started in the industry in 2001, when he registered with Sentra Securities, and was registered with six firms over the years, including Cetera Advisor Networks from 2017 to August this year, according to his BrokerCheck record.
