Raymond James says it has added a duo of financial advisors with $280 million in client assets who were previously registered with Wells Fargo.
James Warren III and Susan Hite, based in Tampa, Fla., will now operate as Family Wealth Advisors of Raymond James, the firm says.
The pair began their advisory careers at Citigroup Global Markets in 1992 and 1993, respectively, and each spent 11 years at Wells Fargo before making the jump to Raymond James, according to their BrokerCheck records.
“With our practice and the firm’s headquarters both located in the Tampa Bay area, we are fortunate to have direct access to firm leaders, subject matter experts and service areas whose ‘can-do’ attitude permeates the company’s culture,” Hite, vice president of investments at Family Wealth Advisors, said in a statement.
“Raymond James values the relationships advisors have with clients and provides the support needed to address the entire spectrum of client financial needs,” she added.
Hite has been working with high-net-worth and ultra-HNW families for more than 35 years, while Warren has more than 26 years in commercial banking experience and 30 years in investment research, Raymond James says.
“Raymond James has grown to international prominence, competing very effectively by employing the latest technology, research and client protection strategies while retaining the personal and individually focused approach to financial consulting and wealth management,” Warren, senior vice president of investments at Family Wealth Advisors, said in a statement.
Raymond James has nabbed a number of other FAs from Wells Fargo in recent weeks. Earlier in July, the firm added 10 former Wells Fargo advisors to its South Florida Complex. In June, Raymond James also poached two FAs from Wells Fargo for its employee advisor channel in Louisiana.
