Raymond James' Financial Institutions Division has brought on the wealth management arm of Benchmark Community Bank.

Benchmark Financial Solutions, which was previously partnered with Infinex, managed more than $190 million in client money, Raymond James says in a press release. Kenbridge, Va.-based Benchmark Community Bank, meanwhile, operates 16 branches throughout southern Virginia and North Carolina and oversees $707 million for customers, according to Raymond James.

Led by Chris Bailey, program manager and financial advisor, the Benchmark group also includes Brandon Clark, an advisor trainee and assistants Becky Aleman and Mary West, according to the press release. Clark will join Raymond James’ trainee program.

Benchmark will work with Raymond James Financial Services, Raymond James says. The Financial Institutions unit supports bank and credit union wealth divisions.

This is at least the second bank wealth management program Raymond James has scored from Infinex in recent months. In December, the company picked up PeoplesBank’s PeoplesWealth Advisory Group from Infinex. Earlier in 2019, RayJay's FID also lured a practice previously affiliated with LPL Financial.
