LPL Nabs $390 Million FA Team

By Alex Padalka April 4, 2019

LPL Financial has added a women-led wealth management practice overseeing $390 million in brokerage, advisory and retirement plan assets, LPL says.

Founded in 2017 by Carrie Mullins and Sara Tanner after a trip to Florence, Italy, Firenze Wealth Management has aligned with Good Life Companies, a firm that supports advisors on LPL’s broker-dealer and corporate or hybrid RIA platforms, according to a press release from LPL.

Firenze, which joins from Foresters Financial, also includes financial advisors Susan Perry, Sierra Swidrak, Davis Siliga and Kalin Rooney, LPL says.

The company serves clients in the Pacific Northwest from their office in the Portland, Oregon metropolitan area, catering primarily to public workers including teachers, fire fighters and police officers, according to the press release.

“LPL’s culture fits with our values and we believe they are the best choice to help us provide our clients with objective advice in the independent model,” Tanner says in the press release. “With LPL we get access to best practice solutions that can promote our growth, and our partnership with Good Life supports our commitment to community outreach. They share our focus to do work that is for the greater good of the community.”

LPL has added several financial advisors in recent weeks from rivals including O.N. Equity Sales Company and Wells Fargo, while firms affiliated with LPL also poached several advisors from Northwestern Mutual Investment Services and U.S. Bancorp Investments.

But in March LPL lost several advisors who collectively managed over $800 million to Ameriprise and Raymond James.
