Raymond James Scores Another Wells Fargo FA Team

August 10, 2018

Raymond James continues nabbing representatives from Wells Fargo Advisors, most recently hiring two veteran advisors who oversaw $462 million, according to InvestmentNews.

Linda Pardini and Douglas Wulbrecht are joining the employee unit of Raymond James & Associates in Santa Rosa, Calif., the publication writes. Pardini has been in the financial services industry since 1986 and joined Wells Fargo in 1993, according to InvestmentNews. Wulbrecht has been in the industry since 1985 and joined Wells Fargo predecessor A.G. Edwards in 1988, according to his BrokerCheck profile.

Raymond James has been aggressively recruiting advisors from rivals in recent months, particularly from Wells Fargo, whose wealth management unit is currently under investigation by the SEC and the Justice Department.

In July, Raymond James Financial Services, the firm’s independent broker-dealer, picked up several representatives in Georgia who collectively managed over $550 million at Wells Fargo Advisors and another Wells Fargo representative who oversaw $118 million in Massachusetts.

The same month, several Wells Fargo representatives collectively managing $500 million joined Steward Partners, the employee-owned independent partnership associated with Raymond James Financial Services, in Connecticut.

In June, Raymond James lured several Wells Fargo advisors who collectively oversaw at least $1.4 billion.
