Fidelity Offers Impact Investing Education Platform for FAs
Fidelity Charitable has launched an education module on sustainable, responsible and impact investing geared toward financial advisors, ThinkAdvisor writes.
The donor-advised-fund sponsor is including ESG education on its practice management platform, and advisors can receive continuing education credits for completing the session, according to the publication.
The program focuses on definitions of ESG investing, trends, case studies, and understanding clients’ motivations, as well as best practices for incorporating ESG into an advice practice, ThinkAdvisor writes. The overall practice management program incorporates education and consulting components geared toward RIAs and broker-dealers and CPAs and trust and estate attorneys, according to the publication. The educational materials come with CE credits and are available for free, ThinkAdvisor writes. Fidelity Charitable also offers in-person workshops, according to the publication.

Fidelity Charitable found in a recent study that among millennials and Generation X members, 70% have already invested using ESG guidelines — but many also still want further education, according to the publication.
