Brinker Capital Rolls Out RIA Support Platform

By Alex Padalka December 7, 2017

Brinker Capital has launched a new division to support RIAs expanding their practices and looking for a way to offload back- and middle-office work, according to a press release from the firm.

Brinker Capital RIA Services will provide advisors with open-architecture or guided investment offerings, a client and advisor portal, a choice of several custodians and a set of digital tools for generating proposals, planning, reporting and billing, according to the press release.

The investment products available on the platform include fund strategist programs, managed accounts from several investment managers and customized portfolios, Brinker says.

In addition to the digital tools and investments offered through the new service, Brinker has also assigned a relationship manager, an onboarding specialist and an operations manager to help RIAs adapt the platform to their practices.

Brendan McConnell, Brinker’s chief operating officer, says the platform is aimed at helping advisors spend more time working with clients and delegating the back- and middle-office tasks to Brinker.

Jerry Clark, founder and principal of RJL Financial Group, says the platform lets him “pursue aggressive growth” without having to bring on more service staff.
